HdG Crime: Thefts Totaling Thousands Of Dollars Reported
A bottle of rum, Butterball turkey fryer and Hatem Bridge pass were some of the items taken, the Havre de Grace Police Department said.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents, which included a series of burglaries and thefts. Arrests do not indicate convictions.
A blue and green BMX bike was stolen from the 100 block of North Union Avenue. The report was filed at 3:24 p.m. on July 17.
More than $1,000 worth of items were taken from the 100 block of Gracecroft Drive. It was unknown how the suspect(s) got inside at 10:17 a.m. on July 16, but once there, jewelry, a lead paperweight and a bottle of rum were stolen. The estimated value of the items taken was $1,145.

Four rolls of telephone wire were stolen from the 600 block of Fountain Street. The items were removed between noon on July 6 and 9 a.m. on July 16. Estimated value of the telephone wire was $400.
Diabetes medication and a Hatem Bridge pass were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 500 block of South Union Avenue. The vehicle was unlocked at the time of the theft, which was at 6:11 a.m. on July 16. Total estimated value of the items taken was $626.

A 25-year-old Havre de Grace man was arrested on Freedom Lane and Green Street at 4:37 p.m. on July 15. The individual, who lives in the 500 block of Green Street, was wanted on four warrants out of the Harford County Sheriff's Office.
A Butterball turkey fryer was among the items stolen in a home burglary. The front basement window was pried open at the residence in the 200 block of Gracecroft Court. Then the burglar(s) took a NVIDIA shield tablet, Vizio TV, Amazon Echo and Butterball turkey fryer. The estimated value of the stolen items was $707. The burglary was reported at 10:34 p.m. on July 14.
A stranger walked by a pedestrian and pushed him into the bushes in the 400 block of South Juniata Street at 6:02 p.m. on July 12. The victim broke his cell phone in the fall.
Child sex abuse was reported in the 200 block of North Union Avenue at 2:37 p.m. on July 12. The case is being handled by the Child Advocacy Center.
Credit card fraud in the 600 block of South Union Avenue was reported at 2:14 p.m. on July 12.
A domestic incident between a husband and wife who are separated is under investigation in the 300 block of Squaw Court. The incident was reported at 11:53 a.m. on July 12.
Tools were stolen from a job site in the 400 block of Green Street. Two screw guns, a drill and circular saw were reported missing on July 12.
A sex offense was reported in the 1500 block of Blenheim Farm Lane at 4:02 p.m. on July 11. The nursing home was handling the complaint.
A wallet and various papers were stolen from a vehicle in the 500 block of North Adams Street at 1:02 p.m. on July 11.
Medications worth $5 were stolen from a house in the 600 block of Bourbon Street, reported at 12:52 p.m. on July 11.
The rear tire was stolen from a woman's bike in the 600 block of Pennington Avenue, reported at 8:12 a.m. on July 11. Estimated value of the tire was $50.
A 57-year-old homeless man was arrested on a warrant through the Harford County Sheriff's Office. He was picked up at 4:54 a.m. on July 10 when officers were responded to the 800 block of Pulaski Highway for a report of a disorderly subject.
Identity theft was reported in the 100 block of Gracecroft Drive on July 8.
A Perryville man was cited for disorderly conduct after police were called to the unit block of Girard Street for a disorderly person. The 27-year-old from the 500 block of Broad Street refused to leave the area and stop shouting profanities, so he was arrested at 10:46 p.m. on July 7.
