November's First Friday Celebration Is Tonight

Havre de Grace celebrates the First Friday of November on Friday evening with a scavenger hunt through downtown businesses.

With temperatures dropping, Havre de Grace Main Street—which organizes First Friday—has scrapped live outdoor music in favor of a scavenger hunt.

This scavenger hunt won't last one night, though. Instead, it will run until Dec. 23, when a winner will be drawn to receive a $100 gift certificate to a Havre de Grace restaurant of his or her choice.

Scavenger hunters will visit businesses to answer 10 provided questions. Downtown restaurants will have questionnaires during Friday's festivities.

Main Street also announced a special Haunted History Tour scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday.
