October Real Estate Sales Dip
The good news was that homes were sold at or near their asking prices.
Havre de Grace real estate sales plummeted in October by nearly 65 percent from this time last year and by the same percentage from September.
There is some positive news surrounding the nearly $1.8 million worth of real estate that was sold in October—homes are still selling at a high percentage of their list price.
Properties in Havre de Grace sold on average for about $252,000 in October, barely a change from September. Just seven properties exchanged hands during October and it took on average 153 days for them to sell. Three of those homes sold in 10 days or less.

Something to note, whether you are selling or buying a home, is that properties in Havre de Grace sold for nearly 91 percent of their original list price, which is a one percent increase over last year at this time and a two percent increase over September.
