UPDATE: Hatem Bridge Reopened from Crash

The Maryland Transportation Authority reports lanes have reopened on bridge between Havre de Grace and Perryville.

UPDATE (1:45 p.m.)—All lanes have reopened on the Hatem Bridge, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.

Part of the Hatem Bridge is closed Sunday afternoon due to a crash, according to transportation officials.

The two-vehicle crash occurred at 1:01 p.m., according to the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team.

All eastbound lanes of US 40 were blocked on the bridge after 1:15 p.m., according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.

The Susquehanna Hose Company, which responded to the collision, said there were injuries involved.

Those headed from Havre de Grace to Perryville will be detoured onto MD 155 and the Tydings Bridge as an alternate, WNEW reports.
