Hatem Bridge Reopens After Crash
There was a crash on westbound part of the bridge, officials said.
Half of the Hatem Bridge was briefly shut down for cleanup from a crash Tuesday morning, officials said.
By 8:52 a.m., the crash had cleared, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.
Three vehicles were involved in the collision on US 40 west on the Hatem Bridge at approximately 8 a.m., according to the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team (CHART).

At 8:20 a.m., the bridge was closed to traffic headed into Havre de Grace from Perryville, transportation officials reported.
First responders including police, fire and EMS personnel were at the scene.

By 8:45 a.m., one lane had reopened and by 8:52 a.m., all lanes were clear.
