Peach Bottom To Conduct 3-Minute Test
There is one precaution people may want to take, officials say, before the Peach Bottom test.
A three-minute siren will sound at Peach Bottom on Wednesday, June 5, according to Exelon. The testing will take place at 1 p.m.
During the test period, the Peach Bottom Siren System will be activated and sound at full volume.
It is required as part of the bi-annual siren testing process.

The nuclear power station tests its sirens biannually, once in June and again in December.
"There is no emergency at the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station," officials said of the June 5 exercise. "This is only a test. There is no need for you to take any precautionary measures except that you may want to bring your pets indoors while sirens are sounding."
