Peach Bottom Testing on Tap Wednesday

Sirens will sound for three minutes, officials say.

Peach Bottom will test its sirens on Wednesday as part of a regular review.

The sirens will sound at 1 p.m. and continue for three minutes, according to Harford County government officials.

Peach Bottom has never used sirens to alert citizens of an incident at the power plant, but the devices have been employed by local governments to communicate with citizens in severe weather events.
