Perry Point Hosting Veterans Health Information Fair

The town hall and information fair is planned for early December.

The VA Maryland Health Care System is hosting an event near Perryville on Saturday, Dec. 6, to help veterans navigate the health services available to them. There will be three parts to the event—an information fair, navigation seminar and town hall.

  • At the information fair, VA staff members will field questions about eligibility and enrollment and help veterans complete their applications. They will also accept applications. Information tables will offer resources for understanding services and compensation benefits. VA staff can schedule clinic appointments, help resolve any issues people are having receiving VA health care and answer questions about VA programs and services.
  • At the navigation center and town hall—from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.—veterans can learn about the VA Maryland Health Care System; find out about the process for scheduling clinic appointments and ordering prescription refills; and make inquiries or comments about their VA health care services, according to a statement from the VA.
