Perryville High Student Reportedly Charged in Stepfather's Murder
The 14-year-old is said to have killed his stepfather in Port Deposit.
A teen who just completed his freshman year at Perryville High School has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with his stepfather's death in their mobile home, the Cecil Whig reported.
The murder occurred in mid-February. Vincent M. Robertson, 47, of the unit block of Green Lane in Port Deposit, was found dead in his living room with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper torso on Feb. 17, according to Maryland State Police.
Troopers from the North East barrack and crime scene technicians from the Maryland State Police Forensic Sciences Division responded after receiving a 911 call from paramedics at the residence requesting assistance, police said.
Maryland State Police offered a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect(s).

Online court records show that Woodberry has been charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, second-degree murder, conspiracy to commit second-degree murder, first-degree assault, conspiracy to commit first-degree assault, second-degree assault, conspiracy to commit second-degree assault, having a handgun on one's person, use of a firearm to commit a felony crime, conspiracy to commit a felony using a firearm and possession of a firearm by a minor.
Woodberry was reportedly being held without bail at the Cecil County Detention Center.
