Perryville Toll Plaza Crash: One Killed, Officials Say

One person died in a crash on Interstate 95 north in the area of the toll plaza near the Tydings Bridge, according to authorities. Transportation officials said one vehicle was involved.

Initially a medevac was called before 9 p.m. Wednesday to I-95 north at the Perryville toll plaza, where one person was trapped as a result of the wreck, according to the Susquehanna Hose Company.

Around 9:30 p.m., officials said the person had been freed from the vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
