Phone Service Restored at HdG Police Department, City Hall

UPDATE (8:50 p.m.)—Havre de Grace lost phone service at city offices Thursday afternoon for approximately one hour due to an outage.

The issue was reported at approximately 4:30 p.m. and was fixed by 5:30 p.m., according to Pfc. Jeff Gilpin, spokesman for the Havre de Grace Police Department.

The phone system in City Hall and the police department had an outage, Gilpin said.

Citizens who had emergencies were encouraged to call 911 and for non-emergency police calls to dial 410-588-5751, which Gilpin said would go to Harford County dispatch.

It was not immediately available what caused the outage.
