PHOTOS: War of 1812 Exhibit Unveiling

The City of Havre de Grace unveiled a model depicting the city as it stood before the war of 1812.

Housed at the Visitors Center on Pennington Avenue, the model will serve as the beginning of a trail of historic destinations in Havre de Grace, Tourism Manager Brigitte Peters said.

Guests at the 5:30 p.m. unveiling Thursday included officials from the city, National Park Service, area museums and the Havre de Grace War of 1812 Bicentennial Committee.
