Police Activity Temporarily Jammed Tydings Bridge
Lane closures were in effect on bridge from Cecil to Harford counties Monday afternoon.
Drivers headed to Harford County on the Tydings Bridge midday Monday faced major slowdowns to police activity, according to transportation officials.
The incident was reported after 11:30 a.m. on Monday, according to the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team.
Two lanes were closed while police responded, and a 3-mile backup had accumulated by 12:20 p.m., the Maryland Transportation Authority reported.

By 1:05 p.m. all lanes had reopened, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.
