HdG Power Outage Strikes Major Intersection, Activities Center
BREAKING: A major intersection in Havre de Grace is experiencing a power outage Wednesday, officials report.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — There is a power outage in Havre de Grace on Wednesday. It has affected traffic lights and caused the closure of at least one public building.
Nearly 650 BGE customers were experiencing outages in Harford County, the utility company reported after 2 p.m. That number had dropped to 271 as of 2:10 p.m., BGE said.
Power is out at the intersection of Revolution Street and US 40, according to the Havre de Grace Police Department.

In addition, the Havre de Grace Activities Center in the 300 block of Lewis Lane was closed as of 1 p.m. due to the power outage, Harford County Government reported.
"We are working with BGE for an estimate of when power will be restored and the building can be reopened," officials said.

Police said some traffic lights have been restored since the outage began, including Revolution Street at Lewis Lane and US 40 at Lewis Lane.
Drivers should use caution in the area.
Remember, if a signal is out drivers must treat it like a four-way stop.
