Presentation Next Tuesday: How Will Parking Change in Downtown Havre de Grace?

Parking in downtown Havre de Grace may never be the same.

The Chesapeake Group Inc. will present data on current supply and demand for parking in the city’s downtown business district, as well as recommendations for improvement at the Feb. 22 Havre de Grace City Council meeting.

The presentation is part of the Economic Revitalization Plan. The Chesapeake Group is a professional consulting firm hired by the city in partnership with Havre de Grace Main Street Inc.

The dates for future public work sessions, to include public input, will be announced at the council meeting.

The Feb. 22 meeting will be the second Tuesday meeting in the city’s history, following the . Meetings are normally held the first and third Monday of the month, unless those days fall on a holiday. In that case, the meeting will be held the next night.
