Public Invited to Enjoy Live Jazz Music at Fourth Annual "Beacon of Hope" Gala

The SUCCESS Project, a 501(c)3 affiliate of the Havre de Grace Housing Authority (HDGHA), invites the public to attend the organization’s only fundraising event of the year, the “Beacon of Hope Gala,” a dinner, dance and auction to be held Saturday, November 6 from 7:00-11:00 p.m. at Bulle Rock Golf Course, 320 Bleinheim Lane, Havre de Grace. Tickets are $45 per person or $400 for a table of 10 and can be purchased through EventBrite.

The Beacon of Hope Gala offers a full evening of entertainment, with live music provided by the Phillip Heilager Jazz Trio, delicious food and a cash bar. The highlight of the event is the huge silent and live auction which features hundreds of items at a wide range of price points. There will be a special auction preview at 6:30 p.m. before the dinner and dancing begin.

As the only fundraiser of the year for the newly launched SUCCESS Project, the Beacon of Hope Gala is an important event for the entire community. All proceeds will go directly to supporting programs that help the at-risk youth and underserved adults of Harford County in their efforts to achieve economic self-sufficiency.

The SUCCESS Project Executive Director Nicki Biggs says, “We are committed to helping all families achieve a financially independent future by offering services that assist them in that endeavor. The Beacon of Hope Gala is a fun event that celebrates the strides low income families in Harford County have taken towards financial independence so far, and will also help us continue to fund the programs needed to assist them on the rest of their journey.”

The SUCCESS Project is still accepting donations for the Beacon of Hope Gala silent auction, and sponsorships for the event are available at the following levels: Friend Level- $250, Bronze Level-$500, Silver Level-$1,000, Gold Level-$2,500, Platinum Level-$5,000 and Diamond Level-$10,000.
