Havre de Grace Election Filing Recap

Now that the deadline for filing has passed, the final roster of candidates is in and the race is on for the May 7 election in Havre de Grace.

The mayor's race has two contenders:

• Wayne Dougherty (incumbent)
• Jim Miller

There are five candidates vying for three seats on the council:

• Tom Barnes
• John Correri (incumbent)
• Randy Craig (incument)
• Fred Cullum
• Robert Greene

One current councilmember chose not to run for reelection; councilwoman Barbara Wagner told Patch: "I don't think that's the best spot for me." She plans to focus on environmental initiatives.
