Remote Control Assault, Racial Slurs Near Lighthouse: HdG Police Blotter
The Havre de Grace Police Department also reported one resident was arrested twice in four days.

An argument between two roommates on South Freedom Lane led to assault charges this week, the Havre de Grace Police Department reported.
Police responded to the 200 block of South Freedom Lane at approximately 7:45 p.m. on Aug. 12 for an assault, according to the report.
Two roommates had been arguing when one man threw a video game controller at the other man, hitting the victim in the head, the report said. The victim was treated at a local hospital and released, according to police.

The 21-year-old accused of throwing the controller was charged with second-degree assault. He is scheduled to appear in Harford County District Court on Oct. 29.
Vandalism—From Cut Flowers to Slashed Tires

Vandalism was reported in the 100 block of Stansbury Court at 10:22 a.m. on Aug. 13. No further information was available.
Flowers were cut in a yard in the 800 block of Ontario Street. The incident was reported at 6:14 a.m. on Aug. 13, and a neighbor was the prime suspect.
A front tire was slashed in the 100 block of Grace Manor Drive, reported at 7:23 a.m. on Aug. 12.
Three tires were slashed in the 200 block of South Union Avenue on Aug. 10 and 11, resulting in a total loss of $300.
Graffiti containing racial slurs was found on a bench near the lighthouse in the 200 block of Concord Street, reported at 7:45 a.m. on Aug. 10.
Vandalism was reported at the playground on Conesteo Street at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 9.
A vehicle was egged in the 100 block of Grace Manor Drive, reported at 11:09 a.m. on Aug. 8.
Thefts—Boat Trailer, Motorcycle Helmet Stolen
A wallet was reported stolen from a Chevy Equinox in the 600 block of Girard Street at 7:21 a.m. on Aug. 14.
A boat trailer was reported stolen from the 500 block of South Adams Street at 4:19 p.m. on Aug. 12.
At 11:10 a.m. on Aug. 10, a motorcycle helmet was reported stolen from Lewis Street and South Union Avenue. Estimated loss was $200.
At approximately 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 9, individuals walked out on an $88.61 bill at an establishment in the 300 block of Franklin Street.
HdG Man Arrested Twice in Four Days
A 47-year-old man from the 100 block of Pusey Street was arrested twice in four days, according to police.
At 10 p.m. on Aug. 11, police charged him with assault and vandalism in connection with an incident with his parents in the 100 block of Pusey Street.
Days before, he was also charged with assault after his girlfriend and he got into a fight at Tydings Park in the 300 block of Commerce Drive. At approximately 2 a.m. on Aug. 8, he choked his girlfriend, made her elbow bleed and threatened to break her windows, according to the report from police.
