The Road To Isthmia
The American Association of University Women, Harford County Branch, invites the public to attend Jennifer Palinkas’s talk about her research in Greece on Monday, November 16 at 7:00 PM in Edgewood Hall, Room 132.. She will include information about her dissertation on the monumental gateways at Eleusis and the City Eleusinion and the sacred way between these two sanctuaries. She will also discuss her excavations of a Roman road in Ancient Corinth, highlights from the new Corinth Site Guide and her current work of editing a volume of Roman pottery for the University of Chicago Excavations of Isthmia.
Palinkas is a graduate of the John Carroll School, received her BA at Hood College and her PhD from Emory University. She is an active member of AAUW and is the chair of their major fundraiser “Food Fight”.
