Royal Farms Set to Reopen Next Week

Renovations at the downtown convenience store began in June.

The five-month renovation of the Royal Farms store in downtown Havre de Grace is nearing an end.

Ed Stronski, a spokesman for the regional convenience store chain, told Patch Wednesday morning that the renovated store at the corner of Juniata and Revolution streets will reopen at midnight as the clock turns from Nov. 9 to Nov. 10.

Royal Farms is adding food options at the store, including chicken and fries, which were not available at the location prior to the renovations.

The location of the gas pumps at the store has changed, as well. Previously located closer to the corner of the property, they are now along the Revolution Street side of the building.

More parking is available behind the building, after the neighboring lot was purchased and included in the expansion project.
