Royal Farms Under Renovations, Adding Chicken

UPDATED (2:30 p.m.)——Royal Farms' famous chicken is coming to Havre de Grace.

The Havre de Grace at the corner of Juniata and Revolution streets is closed for renovations. A spokesman for Royal Farms told Patch Tuesday afternoon the store has a set a July 25 target date for reopening.

Royal Farms spokesman Ed Stronski said the store will undergo an expansion, as well as interior and exterior renovations.

The changes will bring the Havre de Grace store up to par with the other 135 stores in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and Pennsylvania. The majority of Royal Farms stores offer chicken—including those in Aberdeen, Port Deposit, Bel Air and Churchville, according to the Royal Farms website.
