Save-A-Lot Progressing, Hiring

's second grocery store is making progress.

It's taking job applications, too.

Save-A-Lot, is coming to the former Acme location, is hiring staff. According to a sign in the storefront, potential employees may stop in on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.

On Tuesday, workers were addressing both the interior and exterior of the store—primarily focusing on the sign on the building's facade.

The exterior wall of the building facing Lewis Lane also had a new coat of paint.

A grand opening date has not been set.
