HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Two people were put out of their home Saturday night after a fire broke out in the basement, officials said. Nobody was injured, and the victims were being helped by disaster assistance personnel. At 7:38 p.m, the Aberdeen Fire Department was dispatched to the 2300 block of Sherwood Lane, according to Jenn Chenworth, spokeswoman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association. There was a fire in the basement, she said. Additional crews assisted with the response, including the Susquehanna Hose Company.
