Smoke On Congress Avenue No Cause For Alarm: Susquehanna Hose Company

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The Susquehanna Hose Company advised that smoke may be visible Tuesday night in Havre de Grace.

Firefighters were training at St. John's Towers in the 500 block of Congress Avenue, officials reported, and they planned to use a smoke machine for their training scenario.

First responders assured the public that the building would not be on fire.

By 8:30 p.m., the hose company reported that the exercise had concluded.
