Smoke On Revolution Street Caused By Furnace: Officials
The Susquehanna Hose Company said hazardous materials crews were called Sunday night to Havre de Grace.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — An issue with utilities caused smoke at an industrial building on Revolution Street Sunday night, according to officials. The Susquehanna Hose Company, which was dispatched to the Cytec Solvay building just before 7 p.m., reported its crews were working to clear the scene around 7:45 p.m.
When firefighters arrived, they said there was smoke showing from the building in the 1300 block of Revolution Street.
Crews from the Susquehanna Hose Company and Aberdeen Fire Company responded to the incident, and the hazardous materials team was also dispatched to Cytec Solvay, a company that manufactures adhesives.

Upon investigation, the Susquehanna Hose Company reported before 7:45 p.m. that the smoke was related to an issue with the furnace system.
