Sobriety Checkpoint Planned for Super Bowl
The Harford County Sheriff's Office announces DWI checkpoint.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD – If you’re planning to drink a few beers while watching the Super Bowl next weekend, plan your ride home as well.
There will be a sobriety checkpoint in Harford County on Sunday, Feb. 7, according to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies will be on the lookout for those driving while intoxicated (DWI) between 8:30 and 10:30 p.m., the sheriff’s office reports.

The initiative coincides with the Super Bowl, which starts at 6:30 p.m. EST on Sunday, Feb. 7, in a matchup between the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos.
In Maryland, the legal limit for alcohol consumption while driving is .08 percent blood alcohol content.
