Substance On Susquehanna River Prompts Emergency Investigation
Emergency crews say they are investigating the source of a sheen on the Susquehanna River near the Hatem Bridge and Amtrak railroad bridge.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — A possible fuel spill is under investigation in the Susquehanna River near the Hatem Bridge and Amtrak railroad bridge.
The call came in at 5:26 p.m. on Tuesday, according to Harford County public safety officials.
After 5:45 p.m., the Susquehanna Hose Company reported its crews were looking into the diesel sheen on the river and had not yet identified the source.
