Susquehanna Hose Company Swoops in to Help with Rescues
Havre de Grace first responders helped rescue efforts amid flooding in Bel Air.

When flooding struck the Bel Air area Thursday night, the Susquehanna Hose Company and its boat came to the rescue.

Firefighters brought their boat from Havre de Grace to a call for service on Conowingo Road, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.

The hose company members went to work Thursday evening on Conowingo Road at Delhaven, near Moores Mill Road, Gardiner said.
