Susquehanna Hose Company Turns Pink For Breast Cancer

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD – Susquehanna Hose Company members known for fighting fires are joining another battle. The Havre de Grace firefighters have teamed up to raise awareness about the battle against breast cancer.

The hose company shared a picture of one of its pieces of equipment illuminated pink this week.

"We are joining the fight..." the Susquehanna Hose Company reported on Wednesday.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.

This is not the first time the hose company has raised awareness about breast cancer. In 2012, it illuminated its New Year's Eve duck pink and donated proceeds from the event to the Maryland Susan G. Komen Foundation.
