SUV Stolen at School, Assault, Furnace Theft : HdG Crime

A handicap sticker was taken, mother and son's vehicles ransacked and other crimes recently reported to HdG police.

The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents.

A 2010 Ford Escape was stolen from the school parking lot in the 900 block of Graceview Drive. The theft was reported at 5:19 p.m. on Nov. 17, and the keys to the gray SUV had been taken from the victim’s desk. The vehicle was valued at $16,000.

An assault was reported at 3:53 p.m. in the 600 block of Green Street, where a 34-year-old who lived there was charged with assaulting his girlfriend. There were no serious injuries.

An air conditioner and furnace worth an estimated $6,500 were stolen from a trailer in the 300 block of Old Bay Lane. The theft was reported at 12:22 p.m. on Nov. 17.

A handicap sticker was reported stolen from the 600 block of Girard Street on Nov. 17. The theft occurred two weeks prior to the report being filed.

Two vehicles were ransacked in the 300 block of Roosevelt Court. A woman reported that someone had gone through her vehicle and her son’s vehicle, taking his wallet. The incident was reported at 5:22 a.m. on Nov. 18.

Other Incidents

A 34-year-old from Schoolhouse Drive in Port Deposit was arrested on a fugitive warrant. The warrant was served at 6:55 p.m. on Nov. 18 in the 600 block of Fountain Street.

A CD was stolen from a 1999 Protege in the 300 block of Willow Way, reported at 6:53 p.m. on Nov. 18. The vehicle was unlocked.

A 30-year-old Aberdeen man from the 300 block of Plaza Court was arrested on a warrant out of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office. The warrant was served in the 800 block of Revolution Street at 4:38 p.m. on Nov. 18.

Medication and cash totaling $145 were stolen from the 100 block of Bloomsbury Avenue. The theft was reported at 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 17.

A woman’s wallet was stolen on Veterans Day from the 500 block of Saint John Street. It contained various papers and was in the kitchen area when taken. The theft was reported Nov. 18.
