Teen Charged for Allegedly Punching Cop at McDonald’s
The incident occurred at the Havre de Grace fast food restaurant on Route 40.

An 18-year-old Havre de Grace man has been charged with second-degree assault for allegedly hitting a security guard at McDonald's Halloween night.
Around 9 p.m. on Oct. 31, the on-site security guard at the McDonald's on Pulaski Highway in Havre de Grace asked two male teenagers standing near the register to quiet down. He told investigators the youths were being boisterous and using profanity, according to the Havre de Grace Police Department.
That’s when the 18-year-old punched the security guard—who was an off-duty Baltimore City Sheriff, said police. The officer was taken to Harford Memorial Hospital, where police said he was evaluated and released. The two suspects fled the scene.
