Tent Stolen from Porch: Havre de Grace Crime

Sexual assault, boat theft, marijuana use and other incidents were recently reported to Havre de Grace police.

The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information. In cases where arrests are noted, an arrests does not equal a conviction.

A tent was stolen from a porch in the 400 block of North Stokes Street. The theft was reported at 2:42 p.m. on Saturday, June 13. The 10-by-10-foot canopy tent was estimated to be worth $200.

Other Incidents

A boat was reported stolen from the 300 block of Commerce Street at 1:12 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, The off-white 36-foot Trojan fiberglass boat was last seen on Friday, June 12, at the marina. The complaint was abated.

A domestic incident was discovered to be unfounded at approximately 8:15 p.m. on Monday, June 15, in the 400 block of Battery Drive.

Drug use was reported in the 800 block of Pulaski Highway at 3:23 p.m. on Monday, June 15. A 23-year-old from the 100 block of Carroll Avenue in Aberdeen was issued a civil citation for possession of marijuana.

A sexual assault was reported in the 100 block of Wilson Street at 8:11 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, and the victim was referred to the Child Advocacy Center.

A Honda without a front tire was reported stolen from the 1200 block of Pulaski Highway at approximately 9:15 a.m. on Sunday, June 14. The complaint was determined to be unfounded.

Banging on the door and glass breaking were heard in the 1000 block of Pulaski Highway, reported shortly after midnight on Sunday, June 14. The caller canceled the complaint.

A 38-year-old man from the 400 block of Green Street was arrested at 11:46 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, on a parole and probation warrant. He was initially brought to the attention of police when a domestic incident was reported in the 400 block of Green Street at 9:43 p.m. on Saturday, June 13.

An apartment smelled suspiciously like burned rubber, and drugs were suspected. Police conducted an area check in the 800 block of Giles Street at 1:03 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, and found no violations.

A mailbox was damaged in the 200 block of North Union Avenue, reported at 12:57 p.m. on Saturday, June 13.

Three juveniles stole gum from the 500 block of North Union Avenue, reported at 10:34 a.m. on Saturday, June 13. The complaint was abated.
