Thank You From The Lock House!

The Lock House would like to say "Thank You" for a wonderful 2017 season. We are very pleased to announce a wildly successful year. We kicked off in April with a brand new exhibit celebrating Havre de Grace's contributions to WWI and the centennial of Aberdeen Proving Ground. Throughout the spring and summer we were happy to host well over 1200 visitors from all over the country (and even a few international guests) into the Museum and countless others who enjoyed to grounds to learn more about the canal era, have a beautiful picnic lunch, or catch a few fish...all were (and are) welcome.

We would like to thanks all of our volunteers who helped us with all of our events, leading our visitors on tours, helping with grounds keeping, museum exhibition help, and just about every task you can imagine. The Lock House would be unable to function without your help. In addition, we would like to thank the City of Havre de Grace for its continued support.

Most importantly, we would like to thank our visitors. You are the reason we are here. Thank you so much for choosing to visit us.

Although the Lock House exhibits are closed to the public, that does not mean we are shutting our doors. We will be back in December for our popular Candlelight Tour and Holiday Boutique the weekend of December 9th and 10th!! Stay tuned for more details!
