The Promenade Grille Closes for Season
The restaurant near Tydings Park put away its picnic tables and umbrellas.
The Promenade Grille closed for the season Sunday. The tables and umbrellas on its deck were put away, and staff was tidying up on Monday before shuttering the restaurant until 2014.
Owner Dana Caro said his business near Tydings Park and the City Yacht Basin always closes at the end of October; it will reopen in the spring.
“If there’s a foot of snow on the ground, we wouldn’t open,” Caro added, but for the most part, he said the restaurant opens and closes around Daylight Saving time.

When the Promenade Grille reopens in the spring, Caro said it will be heading into its tenth year in Havre de Grace.
The Promenade Grille is located at 352 Commerce St.
