Church Safe Robbed: Havre de Grace Police Blotter

Trail of dog poop, mailbox vandalism and busted door were also among incidents reported.

The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents:

  • Someone stole $160 from a church safe in the 100 block of Wilson Street. The theft was reported at 12:23 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 3. Police said there are no suspects.
  • A domestic incident was reported in the 200 block of Mohegan Drive at approximately 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 3.
  • A domestic assault was reported in the 500 block of Franklin Street at 4:05 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2.
  • A side door in the 200 block of Giles Street was reportedly “busted” at approximately 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2. Estimated loss was $600.
  • A 26-year-old woman from Quarryville, PA, was served with a warrant out of Havre de Grace for second-degree assault, at 11:40 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 1, at the Harford County Detention Center. The charge was from an incident on Sept. 9.
  • A mailbox was knocked over in the 300 block of Goforth Drive, reported at about 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 30. Estimated loss was $100.
  • At approximately 11:55 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29, a man reported his handgun and an extra magazine were stolen from the 100 block of Gracecroft Drive. Police said the report was unfounded.
  • A significant amount of dog poop was reportedly dropped in front of four homes in the 300 block of Tecumseh Way. The complaint was filed before 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29, and police said the problem was fixed.
  • Child abuse involving a babysitter was reported in the 500 block of South Union Avenue at approximately 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 28. Police referred the matter to another agency.
  • A domestic incident was reported at 11:40 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 28, in the 700 block of Revolution Street.
