Things to Do at the Library

I'm curious. We have many wonderful programs or activities at the library each week, especially during the summer months because of our annual Summer Reading Program.

However, this year, we have noticed a drop in teen and grade school attendees this month. What can we do better to draw families to our upcoming events?

We use our sign out on Union Avenue, we have a wonderful brochure for all branches, and we we put up flyers at the library and around town, when we can.

But where do YOU look for ideas of things to do with your children in the summer? How can we help? How can we get the word out?

Just this week, we have a CD Scratch Art program on Thursday, 2 story times (Wednesday & Friday), Lego Club on Wednesday afternoon, and our big Summer Fair on Saturday (12-4 pm)

Be our focus group today. Give us your feedback, either here or drop by the branch and leave your suggestions there.

I appreciate it.
