Tools, Jewelry, Electronics Stolen: HdG Police Blotter
The Havre de Grace Police Department also said a sexual assault was reported.

The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents.
At 3:22 p.m. on Aug. 25, a man requested that his son be removed from his home in the 100 block of Bay Drive. When police arrived, the son left.
At 3:07 a.m. on Aug. 25, someone refused to pay a fare in the 400 block of South Juniata Street. Police said the problem was resolved as the fare was paid.

Tools were stolen from a van in the 700 block of South Adams Street. Police said the report was filed at 8:45 a.m. on Aug. 23 and the theft happened overnight. The lock on the side door was broken.
At 1:03 p.m. on Aug. 22, someone in the 800 block of North Juniata Street reported that a person across the street had assaulted him/her. Police said no assault occurred.

At 11:05 p.m. on Aug. 20, police conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of Otsego Street. The 44-year-old man, who lives in the 300 block of Pintail Drive, was charged with DUI after taking field sobriety tests.
Money and jewelry were stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Heron Court, reported after 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 19. A potential suspect was identified.
Two GPS units were taken from vehicles in the 600 block of Commerce Street, reported at 9:17 a.m. on Aug. 19. Both vehicles where the thefts occurred were owned by the same person. Estimated loss was $500.
A man reported that he was the victim of a sexual assault after he accepted a ride from a man driving an older model SUV on Aug. 18, police said.
The victim had been walking along US Route 40 from Aberdeen to Havre de Grace when a stranger in a tan/gold Jeep or Nissan Pathfinder offered him a ride near Route 40/Pulaski Highway and Blenheim Farm Lane, police said. The victim accepted the ride.
While driving toward the victim’s home in downtown Havre de Grace, the suspect made sexual advances, including groping and touching the victim, who repeatedly told the man to stop, according to the report.
After being dropped off near his home, the victim called police at approximately 2:55 p.m. and reported the incident. Officers could not locate the suspect, who told the victim he was from North Carolina and was headed to Delaware. The suspect was described as a white man who was approximately 60 years old and balding, with black/gray hair on the sides of his head. Officers checked the area and issued a lookout to other law enforcement, but the suspect was not located.
