Tractor-Trailer Flips on Tydings Bridge: MDTA
BREAKING: Traffic on I-95 south was affected by crash on Tydings Bridge.
A tractor-trailer overturned on the Tydings Bridge Sunday night, causing lane closures during a period of high winds.
Two southbound lanes were closed on the bridge, according to state transportation officials, who said the single-vehicle crash happened at approximately 11:15 p.m. at mile marker 91 on I-95 south.
A second tractor-trailer had overturned south of the bridge, the Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) reported at 11:45 p.m.

A fog warning was issued for the Tydings Bridge just after 11 p.m., according to the MDTA.
Limited wind restrictions, which indicate winds from 40 to 49 mph, took effect at the Hatem Bridge at 11:30 p.m., meaning these are prohibited: house trailers, empty box trailers or any other vehicle that law enforcement personnel say may not safely cross. Drivers denied passage will be given assistance so they can safely turn around.

The region was under a severe thunderstorm warning until 11:30 p.m., while a wind warning was in effect until 6 p.m. Monday.
