Vehicle Fire Clears on I-95 South of Havre de Grace

The incident caused delays north of Aberdeen.

A vehicle fire caused delays for travelers headed south on Interstate 95 near Aberdeen Tuesday morning, according to transportation officials.

The fire was reported at approximately 9:30 a.m. and as of 9:55 a.m., two southbound lanes were closed on I-95 in the area of the exit for MD 22, the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team (CHART) reported.

Traffic cameras showed the fire was not out, and the vehicle was ablaze on the fast shoulder on I-95 south.

By 10:30 a.m., the fire had cleared and all lanes reopened.
