Trespassing Complaints in HdG Lead to Parental Advisory

Havre de Grace school resource officers ask for help after complaints about students come in from community members.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Do you know what route your child is taking to get home from school? The Havre de Grace Police Department is asking parents and guardians to remind young people not to trespass.

"The Havre de Grace Police Department has received several complaints of middle school students walking in people's yards, hopping fences and generally trespassing," Havre de Grace School Resource Officers said in a statement on Wednesday.

Parents are encouraged to talk with their children and advise them "to use crosswalks and sidewalks whenever possible and do not trespass onto other residents' properties," the statement said.
