Two Arrests, Pill Theft, Assaults: HdG Crime

Two men in their 20s were arrested in Havre de Grace since Friday, police said.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information about recent calls in the city. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

An assault was reported in the 500 block of South Union Avenue at 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 14. The case was referred to the commissioner.

A 28-year-old man from the 100 block of Pusey Street was arrested in the 100 block of Bloomsbury Avenue at 7:38 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 13. Police said he was taken in on a parole re-take warrant.

Pills were taken from a home in the 100 block of Pusey Street. A report of the theft was filed before 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 11.

Police said a 22-year-old man was arrested in the 100 block of Weber Street, where he lives, after a fight with his father. Both sustained minor injuries and did not seek medical treatment. The son was charged with assault and destruction of property when taken into custody around 11:45 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 11.
