Two Cited in BB Gun Shootings on Chapel Road: Police

Havre de Grace police also served a warrant to someone in a closet this week.

The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents.

A man was found hiding in a closet when police came to arrest him in the 900 block of Erie Street before 10 a.m. on Sept. 16.

Authorities learned that the individual, who was wanted in several jurisdictions, was at the location and came to apprehend him.

Once found in the closet, the 31-year-old from the 500 block of Hall Court was arrested on warrants out of Aberdeen for burglary; Harford County for theft, fraud and failing to appear; and Baltimore City for violating probation.

Two people were cited in connection with a BB gun shooting that took out a truck window in the 1500 block of Chapel Road. The shooting was reported at 11:01 p.m. on Sept. 15.

A 19-year-old from the 200 block of Smarty Jones Terrace and a 22-year-old from the 300 block of Cigar Loop were cited for a BB gun violation, disorderly conduct and vandalism/malicious destruction of property.

Police allege they shot out truck windows and hit the siding of a residence in the 1500 block of Chapel Road.

Other Incidents

Money was stolen from someone’s bank account in the 400 block of Webb Lane. The theft was reported at 9:24 a.m. on Sept. 16.

A 45-year-old from the 600 block of Green Street was charged with driving under the influence and other offenses after a traffic stop in the 600 block of Green Street at 11:56 p.m. on Sept. 13.

A 29-year-old from the 200 block of Seneca Avenue was charged with driving under the influence during a traffic stop in the 300 block of St. John Street at 12:45 a.m. on Sept. 13.
