Two Injured in Belcamp Building Blaze: Officials
The fire occurred at a ballistics testing site near Aberdeen Proving Ground.
Firefighters responded to a building fire at a Department of Defense facility Monday morning that sent two civilians to the hospital, the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association reported.
Crews were called to the Chesapeake Defense Services campus on Compass Point Road in Belcamp for a building fire, the association reported after 9 a.m.
Chesapeake Defense Services is a ballistics testing center located near Aberdeen Proving Ground where an indoor munitions test had been going on when the fire broke out, the association reported.

Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company, Abingdon Fire Company, Aberdeen Proving Ground Fire and Emergency Services, Aberdeen Fire Department and the Susquehanna Hose Company were among those who responded, the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association reported.
By 9:25 a.m., the fire was knocked, according to the report.

Two people were taken to the local hospital with minor injuries, the report said.
There was minor smoke damage to the building and moderate damage from smoke, fire and water to the room where the fire broke out, according to the report.
The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
