Tydings Bridge Crash Briefly Closed I-95 South: MDTA

CECIL COUNTY, MD — A multi-vehicle crash on the Tydings Bridge snarled the morning rush hour for drivers headed south.

At approximately 7:15 a.m., three vehicles collided on I-95 south at milepost 91 on the bridge, according to the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team (CHART).

By 7:45 a.m., traffic was getting by in the right lane only on I-95 south, following a complete southbound closure on the bridge, the Maryland Transportation Authority reported.

At least one person was injured, according to transportation officials.

By 8 a.m., all lanes had reportedly reopened.
