Tydings Bridge Crash Closed I-95 North For Hours
Traffic was stacked up for miles Friday morning near the Tydings Bridge as emergency personnel cleared a tractor-trailer that tipped over.

A tractor-trailer flipped on its side on Interstate 95 north approaching the Tydings Bridge Friday morning in a multi-vehicle crash near the Harford-Cecil county line. All lanes were blocked on I-95 north during the response, and traffic was detoured onto MD 155.
The crash before 6:30 a.m. on Friday, April 26, and it took more than two hours for all lanes to reopen in the area.
Several people were evaluated for injuries by the Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps, and hazmat crews were dispatched to the scene, according to the Susquehanna Hose Company.

Before 7 a.m., authorities said delays were 2 miles long due to the road closure on I-95. Because of the detour, there was congestion on MD 155 and US 40.
All lanes on I-95 had reopened after 9 a.m., the Maryland Transportation Authority reported.
