EMS Called To Tydings Bridge Crash: Officials

CECIL COUNTY, MD — Multiple vehicles crashed on the Tydings Bridge Friday evening. Traffic was snarled in both directions for more than an hour on Interstate 95.

Five vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred on I-95 north near mile post 91, officials said. The collision happened around 7:48 p.m.

Initially, the two left lanes on the bridge were blocked on I-95 north, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.

After 8 p.m., the left lane on I-95 south was closed as well for emergency medical personnel responding to the collision on the bridge.

By 9 p.m., all lanes had reopened, according to authorities.
