Tydings Bridge Traffic Snarled In Both Directions
BREAKING NEWS: There are major delays Friday morning on the Tydings Bridge in Cecil County.
CECIL COUNTY, MD -- Drivers whose routes involve the Tydings Bridge Friday morning will want to take a detour. Traffic is jammed in both directions due to a crash causing lane closures.
The crash happened around 9:30 a.m., and lane closures lasted for about an hour.
The two right lanes on Interstate 95 north were blocked due to debris, the Maryland Transportation Authority reported before 9:45 a.m., and a left lane was also closed from the crash.

In addition, officials said, the two left lanes on I-95 south were closed for first responders.
As of 10:30 a.m., all lanes had reopened on I-95. However, backups continue up on I-95 north, with traffic congested from the exit for MD 155 in Havre de Grace.
