Tydings War Memorial Shines in Havre de Grace City Park

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The city of Havre de Grace recently announced that it has completed updates to the Tydings War Memorial near the City Yacht Basin. The monument honors service members and is located within Tydings Park off Commerce Street.

A stone wall, stone walkway, star design in the center of the walkway in front of the monument, wing walls and up lighting have been installed, city officials said.

"We believe these updates move forward our long transition of honoring the citizens we consider our greatest," the city administration said in a statement.
