is widely considered . And it's right on Washington Street. The economy may not love your wallet, but Amanda DiDomenico-McFadden has been charging the same price since 2000—a dozen long stem roses for $84.95.

GIFTS
Stop into one of the newer stores in Havre de Grace and come out with a free stuffed animal. Spend $25 or more at and you'll receive a stuffed "love monkey." Jennie Horn said the store is fully stocked with soy lotion candles and melts, aroma oils, bath salts and more. Flicker Scents has more than 100 scented candles.

DINNER
—and award-winning —is offering a free chocolate fondue for two with the purchase of two entrees. It's not a waterfront restaurant, but it's tough to beat the view over at sunset. There is a special Valentine's Day menu, too.

If you prefer the water view, is offering a prix fixe menu with a soup/salad, entree and dessert for $29.99. Dinner seating is from 4-9 p.m. Find the special menu here, and call for reservations.

Take the water view thing a step further—get on the water with the . The riverboat has openings left on Sunday and Tuesday evening cruises. A surf and turf menu and two-hour cruise goes for $50 a person.
