Vehicle Fire Under Investigation on Old Level Road

The Office of the State Fire Marshal said blaze caused $10K in damage.

A vehicle fire on Old Level Road in Havre de Grace is under investigation, according to the Office of the State Fire Marshal.

At 2:45 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 1, the owner of a 2009 Dodge Challenger found his vehicle ablaze in the 3600 block of Old Level Road, the fire marshal reported.

Five firefighters from the Level Volunteer Fire Company responded and brought the blaze under control within five minutes, according to the report. The fire was located next to the fire station.

The blaze began in the engine compartment, the report said. The cause remains under investigation.

There was $10,000 in structural damage to the Dodge Challenger as a result of the blaze, according to the report.
